Welcome to Our Morning Program!

Our Morning Enrichment Program offers children aged 2 and above a fun and nurturing space to learn, move, and grow. Designed as a license-exempt educational enrichment program under California Title 22, this 3-hour morning experience supports early development through movement, imagination, and hands-on creativity.

📚 Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to support the whole child through a balanced blend of movement, creativity, and early learning experiences. Rooted in the principles of play-based education and age-appropriate skill development, each morning is structured with intentional rotations in dance, gymnastics, art, music, and storytelling.

We focus on developing both fine and gross motor skills, language and communication, and social-emotional growth — all while making sure children are engaged, joyful, and active. Whether they’re painting a masterpiece, tumbling across a soft mat, or dancing to a rhythm, children are learning through exploration and discovery in every moment.

As a license-exempt program, we prioritize flexibility and enrichment over formal academics, allowing children to grow at their own pace in a safe and nurturing environment.

👩‍🏫 Staffing & Ratios

We take pride in offering a safe, focused, and nurturing environment through small group instruction and intentional supervision.

Small group format: Maximum 1:6 ratio for children ages 2–3
Staff are trained in early enrichment instruction, child safety, and first aid
This program does not include napping, diapering, or meal service
Children arrive ready to participate and may bring a small, labeled snack and water bottle

Our team is dedicated to providing personalized attention while ensuring that children have the freedom and guidance they need to explore and enjoy each enrichment activity.

Our educators are the heart of the FDS Morning Program. Each team member brings a blend of specialized training, creative passion, and genuine love for working with young children. From professional dancers and certified gymnastics instructors to early childhood art and movement specialists, our staff is carefully selected for their talent, warmth, and commitment to teaching in a developmentally appropriate manner.

📝 Parent Acknowledgment (For Compliance)

To support transparency and uphold our license-exempt status under California Title 22, we ask all families to review and agree to the following program policies:

Our Morning Enrichment Program is not a licensed childcare center and operates fewer than 24 hours per week under license-exempt guidelines.
Participation is voluntary and intended as a supplemental enrichment experience, not a replacement for full-time preschool or daycare.
Children must be picked up promptly at 12:00 PM. The program does not offer extended care.
We do not provide napping, diapering, or meal service. Children should arrive ready to participate with a snack and water if desired.
The program follows an educational and recreational format, featuring structured classes in dance, gymnastics, art, music, and other disciplines.

By enrolling, parents acknowledge and accept these guidelines, helping us maintain a safe, joyful, and compliant environment for every child.

🕘 Daily Schedule: A Joyful Morning of Learning & Movement

Our program is thoughtfully structured to offer a balanced mix of creative arts, movement, early learning, and social development, all within a vibrant and nurturing environment. Here's what a typical morning looks like:

🟡 9:00 AM – 9:15 AM ... Welcome & Morning Circle

We begin with cheerful songs, light stretching, and a preview of the day. Gentle dance warm-ups help boost energy and focus.

🧩 9:15 AM – 9:30 AM ... Imaginative Play & Problem-Solving

Children engage in role-playing, creative building, and teamwork to spark imagination and develop early problem-solving skills.

💃 9:30 AM – 9:50 AM ... Dance Discovery

A fun-filled movement session that combines storytelling, rhythm, and music, encouraging creativity and self-expression through dance.

🤸 9:50 AM – 10:10 AM ... Gymnastics & Movement

From jumps and rolls to balancing skills, this active segment builds strength, flexibility, and motor coordination in a structured setting.

🧃 10:10 AM – 10:20 AM ... Snack & Social Time

A calm break to enjoy a healthy snack and connect with friends. Children learn table manners, sharing, and social communication.

🎨 10:20 AM – 10:40 AM ... Creative Arts & Music

Hands-on art projects meet musical fun! Kids explore color, texture, rhythm, and instruments in a joyful sensory environment.

🧪 10:40 AM – 11:00 AM ... STEM Exploration

Simple science experiments, math games, and discovery play encourage curiosity, logic, and early critical thinking skills.

🎼 11:00 AM – 11:20 AM ... Music & Rhythm

Children explore rhythm through songs, movement, and the use of instruments. This session supports timing, coordination, and musical expression.

🏃 11:20 AM – 11:40 AM ... Gymnastics & Physical Play

Energetic group games and guided movement that build gross motor skills, spatial awareness, and teamwork — all through fun!

📖 11:40 AM – 11:50 AM ... Storytime & Literacy

A cozy literacy session with picture books, early reading prompts, and interactive storytelling to nurture a love of language.

🌈 11:50 AM – 12:00 PM ... Cool Down & Reflection

Soothing stretches and breathing exercises help children relax and unwind. We end with smiles, reflection, and a warm goodbye until next time!

This schedule ensures a well-rounded, enriching experience — blending imagination, physical activity, learning, and joyful connection all before noon.

Drop-in ... $35/hour

FEES DUE UPON REGISTRATION

REGISTRATION FEE: An annual, non-refundable $175 per student is due at enrollment. This fee covers administrative processing, record-keeping, insurance coverage, and preparation for seasonal programs. It may also serve as a "waiting list fee" to secure your child's spot should immediate placement be unavailable.
MATERIAL FEE: Included — No additional supply fees are required.

SIGN-IN/SIGN-OUT POLICY AND LATE PICK-UP FEES

HOURS: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

SIGN-IN/OUT POLICY: A parent or authorized adult (listed on the Enrollment Form) must sign students in and out daily.
A valid photo ID is required at pick-up.

LATE PICKUP:
- Students must be picked up at 12:00 PM.
- If late, parents must notify the Program Supervisor and arrange alternate pick-up.
- After 12:00 PM:
  - $15 for the first 15 minutes
  - $5 for every 5 minutes thereafter
- After five late pick-ups per school year, continued enrollment may be reviewed
