Fitness Fusion

Fitness Fusion is designed for adults with any level of dance experience!

This class is a great mix of aerobic exercise and beginner dance techniques to provide an upbeat, healthy workout that is fun for all! This class will incorporate elements of cardio, flexibility, and full-body movement with varying speeds and dance styles.

At Fantasy Dance School, a Fitness Fusion Dance class combines elements of various dance styles with fitness exercises to create a fun and energetic workout experience. Here's what you might expect from our Fitness Fusion class:

  1. Warm-up: The class typically begins with a warm-up session to prepare the body for movement. This might involve gentle stretches, rhythmic movements, and light cardio exercises to increase heart rate and loosen muscles.

  2. Dance Styles: Throughout the class, participants will be introduced to different dance styles such as hip-hop, salsa, jazz, ballet, contemporary, and more. Choreography may incorporate elements from these styles, allowing participants to learn new moves and techniques while enjoying the music and rhythm.

  3. Fitness Elements: In addition to dancing, fitness fusion classes often incorporate exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, and endurance. These exercises include squats, lunges, planks, and core workouts integrated seamlessly into the dance routines.

  4. Cardiovascular Workout: Dancing itself is a great cardiovascular exercise, and in a fitness fusion dance class, the intensity may vary from moderate to high, depending on the choreography and tempo of the music. This helps participants burn calories and improve cardiovascular health.

  5. Cool-down and Stretching: Like any exercise routine, a fitness fusion dance class typically ends with a cool-down period where participants gradually bring down their heart rates and stretch their muscles to prevent stiffness and reduce the risk of injury.
