Mr. Love has been sharing his passion for the performing arts with students for over a decade. He is the recipient of "Pass Highly Commended" on his teacher examinations from the Cecchetti Council of America and currently holds his Licentiate Certificate.
At the beginnings of his career, Travis danced professionally with regional ballet companies in his home state of Pennsylvania working his way up to soloist in productions such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel. He then continued his performance experience by transitioning into the world of Musical Theater credits include Wizard of Oz, Guys, and Dolls, Legally Blonde, and Hello Dolly. Choreography credits include: Heathers, Little Women, Music Man, and Anything Goes. Travis is a former member of the Arts Faculty at Linden Hall, the nation's oldest all-girls college prep school, where he served as the director of dance programs.
Travis also served as Artistic Director and Founder of Footprints Performing Arts, as a Member at Large and Conference Administrator for the Cecchetti East Coast board of directors, and choreographer in residence for educational institutions such as La Salle University.
In an effort to provide inspired and well thought out lessons to pupils of all ages, Mr. Love is currently pursuing his Masters in Education, Dance Teaching with the Royal Academy of Dance.
He is continually inspired by his students, peers, and the beautiful ever-changing language of dance.
